WAI124 Whānau Claim - NOTICE OF HUI/MEETING – TRUST CREATION
Please inform other whānau that whakapapa or may whakapapa to Whawhai Rihari Tahuaroa OR to the union of Whawhai Rihari Tahuaroa and Roka Pawau. Due to COVID-19 uncertainties we have decided to hold a Zoom Hui to protect our whakapapa. The Māori Land Court have confirmed that this approach is permissible. We will maintain our tikanga at the hui.
PURPOSE OF HUI/MEETING:
1) Agree and confirm the creation and type of Trust that will be the management entity and kaitiaki over our WAI124 whenua when it is returned by Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui Trust
2) Agree and confirm the terms of the Trust as set out in its Trust Deed
3) Determine and agree the number of trustees for the Trust
4) Election of trustees for the Trust
